Kendra T. Greene has been a registered nurse for over 18 years. She has expertise in Medical and Cardiac Intensive Care, Ambulatory Care, Case Management, Utilization Management, and Healthcare Consulting. Kendra has a Master’s in Nursing Education from Western Governor’s University, Master’s in Business Administration/Healthcare Management, and Bachelor’s in Nursing. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Healthcare Administration. In addition to her professional license, Kendra is a Certified Case Manager, Six Sigma Yellow Belt and a Faith Community Nurse.
Kendra is currently employed with Optum/UnitedHealth Care where she is a Sr. Consultant, Medical Management for the Advisory Services team.
Her experience within Optum/UnitedHealth Care includes building vendor relationships, developing quality improvement projects, writing policy and procedures documents and effectively collaborating with physicians regarding treatment protocols. Kendra also served as a member of account management team performing presentations and acting as subject matter expert for case management programs.
Additionally, Kendra is an active member of the National Black Nurses Association- Atlanta Chapter, National Black MBA Association, American Nurses Association, Georgia Nurses Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. just to name a few. Kendra’s passion is to inspire employees to operate at peak performance and to cultivate positive business relationships.
Her dedication to the nursing profession drives her leadership, while instilling that same pride into building a team of health care professionals. Kendra resides in the Atlanta, GA area. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, playing with her pet Pomeranian, Sage, or cheering on her favorite football teams of Auburn University and the New Orleans Saints.
